Last Tuesday I took the kids to the Children's Museum. We went last year a couple of times and really enjoyed it. This was the first time this year and we spent 6 hours. We went to the art center where the kids painted, made paper, used a paper press, and used wire twist ties to make sculptures. Then it was on to a playroom that resembles Mr. Roger's living room, complete with the trolley. The next room has a super fast slide that all of us but William went on. There are also shadow activities there. We took a break to eat the lunch I packed and then we went downstairs to the little used theatre and the kids put on a play for me. They had a traveling exhibit with "Bob the Builder" characters. We ended up in the tool room, where the kids learned how to use a hammer and chisel, and a hand saw. I'm not sure that William was impressed, but he certainly behaved.
