Soccer Camp

Last week I drove the kids to Wheeling, W.V. (about an hour away) to go to a toy and train museum. It was not very impressive. On the way home we stopped at a Cabela's to look at the animals and then a Russell Stover outlet and had ice cream. This week has been pretty relaxing. Henry has soccer camp in the mornings and on Monday we went to the park afterwards and had lunch and then we went to the pool. We haven't done much else. The neighbors come home this weekend and we have some things planned with them...a couple museums, etc.

Keeping Busy

The most exiciting news is the fact that we got a new stove! Yeah! I burned the rice yesterday because I was so used to the old one that took forever for the burners to warm up...when they did warm up. So, we have been back to the Children's Museum, went to a Trolley Museum, a chocolate store (yum!) Of course the kids didn't pick chocolate, but I did. We joined the pool this week and have been twice so far. It is much colder here than we are used to, but we are still having fun. I finally got tired of combing Sadie's hair, so she got her first haircut on Saturday. I wonder how long until she gives herself a haircut...ugh!

Back in PA

Well, we made it "home." The weird part is that everytime I thought of "home" while we were in UT it was FL that I thought about, then I had to remind myself that we don't live there anymore. I really miss it though. The kids and I haven't been to the pool once this summer...unheard of! We got home Saturday night and pulled ourselves to church Sunday. The few names that I learned before leaving have totally left me. Monday and Tuesday we didn't do much, not even unpack. Wednesday I took the kids to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum...this was the best one I have ever been too! They had a water area, arts and crafts and a whole bunch of other stuff...we were there for 5 hours. Today the saga of the stove was solved...don't ask, but I get a free stove next week!!! Yeah

Enjoying our Utah vacation

Last week the kids and I went bowling with Ben's sister Emily...it didn't go well. Well, it went well for Samuel and Henry. (Samuel 75, Henry 74, Emily 71, Sarah 70). It was a lot of fun and wasn't it nice of me to let everyone else win?

I got to see my roommates from BYU last Wednesday and Thursday. We had a lunch Wednesday at one of their homes and then on Thursday I was able to see one of them get married, have lunch together and go to the reception. It was great! Two of the guys that we hung out with came to the reception also. What a great 2 days!!
On Friday we went up to the Uintah's to Ben's Grandparent's cabin. Saturday we spent the day at the lake where Sadie caught 2 fish!

Still in UT

So, to catch everyone up on our UT vacation: Sadie also got strep, so off we went to the doctor again. Then on Sunday she had a rash--so back to the doctor. Sunday we had a get together at the park with Annette's (mother-in-law) side of the family. Monday the kids and I helped up at Grandma Blanche's. Today I took the kids down to Payson to my aunt and uncle's house. We saw them for a few minutes and then spent a couple of hours chatting with my cousin while the kids played. I hadn't seen them for 2-3 years. After that I took them up to Provo to visit with my best friend since birth Laura. I haven't seen her in probably 5-6 years, but there are some people that it doesn't matter how long it has been, it seems like yesterday. I hope to see a few other friends while I'm in town. Tomorrow we are off to the dentist and then I have a get together with 7 other girls that I roomed with at BYU. I'm very excited.
