Thanks to some planning and Christmas money from loving Grandparent's we were able to buy annual passes for Disney.  So far we have been 7 times :).  I love DisneyWorld.  I always have.  Here are some photos.

Samuel pulling on the "Sword in the Stone."  He didn't have any luck this time, but once, he actually got it to lift up.  I don't know if it's on a timer, or what, but sometimes the magnets, or whatever holds it in, let it go up.

Christmas Traditions

This year for Christmas we decided to try some new traditions and bring back an old one that we hadn't been able to do while we were in PA.  Christmas Eve we had frozen grapefruit sections in Sprite.  Wow! That was incredibly tart.  We also had take-out Chinese.  For Christmas Morning we had home made cinnamon rolls.  Christmas lunch was prime rib and lobster mac & cheese.  The lobster mac & cheese wasn't great, but the rest was a success.  We also went to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the Christmas lights.  I LOVE them.

Christmas Stockings

About 4 or 5 years ago we went to our Christmas boxes to get out our stockings and they were no where to be found.  Bummer, since they were all homemade and mine had been made by my Mom the year I was born.  That year, and the following year, we had the kids decorate paper lunch sacks for stockings.  Then, we moved to Pittsburgh and Ben bought some stockings on clearance for a quarter each.  We used those for a couple of years.  12 days before Christmas this year Ben asked if we had ever found the stockings.  Alas, no.  But I got on the ball and made all 6 in 10 days.  This was a true labor of love.  My fingers really hurt at the end of those 10 days.

Please ignore the half slip-covered couch in the background.  I got discouraged and need to redo the cushions.
