Fun with William

I've been working on the house a lot lately, so William has been entertaining himself.  Sometimes though, we manage to work up some fun.
How many strawberries have you eaten William?

Sadie's first big field trip

Disney World!  She invited me to go along.  What a fun way to spend a day.

Spring Break - Myrtle Beach

Samuel and Henry exploring a stream at the beach
What to do when you have a gazillion weeks banked for your timeshare that you never use?  You trade out to anywhere that is driveable during spring break.  So, we ended up in Myrtle Beach.  The kids and Ben had never been there.  The last time I was there was about 13 years ago.  It started out a bit rough with kids not getting along, etc, but it got better.  Ben worked in the hotel during the day and then played with us at night.  It was a Marriott and very nice.  It was on the beach, had a great playground, bocce, shuffleboard, smores, water slide, and much more.  We did a little bit of exploring during the day.  I took the kids to Pawley's island to check out the hammocks and play a bit.

We also went to the beach, but mostly the kids wanted to be at the pool.

The view from the local seafood restaurant...I heard the food was good :)

Sadie looks like it was good, but she really did enjoy it when it finally came

I guess we left William's shoes outside one night, since this is what we found the next morning
"golfing"

And the kids FAVORITE thing of all...farting (sorry Mom) sand

Baseball Season

Well, the regular season is over.  However, our kids have had great teams this year and Samuel still has playoffs for a couple of weeks.  Henry's team won the Division championship and is headed to a town down the road to play against some other Leagues in the area.

How do I only have 2 pictures, both of Samuel.  I will have to remedy that in the next couple of weeks.

That's Samuel pitching-can't you tell???

The new Gillis family Mania

Watching the Main Street Electrical Parade

Maybe the late nights are a bit hard on some of us
One of the families favorite rides (except for me).  When you go late at night the boys get to have their own cups
We have been keeping busy with Henry and Samuel in baseball for the last couple of months.  It has been a ton of fun watching them play, but it has seriously cut into our Disney time.  So, we've been squeezing it in at night.  It happened a bit by accident.  For our anniversary (#14) in March, Ben and I had a friend babysit and we went out to the Magic Kingdom and dinner.  We didn't get to the park until about 8 and stayed until it closed at 11.  It was great.  Not to hot, less people, etc.  So, after our Saturday games, we've been heading to the parks.  Lately it's been Hollywood Studios for this:
TOY STORY MANIA!!!
It's a shooting game where you get points.  We've gone a number of Saturday nights in a row, just to do this ride.  During the last hour of the day you can go on it more than once without too much of a wait.  Here are some other photos from the parks.

William-why is he licking that house, why is he wearing a  pajama top, shorts and Lightning McQueen boots?
