Henry turns 9

Last Friday was Henry's birthday. To celebrate, we took a birthday cake to share to the ward party. Please note the chocolate cake on his face. Now, despite what it looks like, he really is excited to get his first pocketknife.

See if you can find Henry in "Breakfast with Santa Cow"
Also, there is a picture of the family in "Bingo Night"

Family Traditions

Thank you to Ben's family for this family tradition. They even send us all the candy and ribbon each year to make them.

Nativities

I love nativities. I have been fortunate enough to have many given to me...here are some.

This one is from my parents. It is from Namibia and is a handcarved Ostrich egg shell.

This one is from my parents and is from Poland.

This one is from my parents. It fits together like a puzzle and is from Africa.

This is my first nativity. My brother-in-law Matt (then 11) gave it to me the first Christmas I was married.

This one is from my parents: the stable set and corn cob sheep is from Slovakia, the other 5 sheep are from Poland.

This one is Zulu...also from my parents.
My mother-in-law bought me this one

I bought this one last year on clearance. It's the first nativity that I have bought myself .
